Prices of Persian, Himalayan & Exotic Shorthair Persian Kittens

If you’ve landed on this page, you’re likely looking to better understand the pricing of our Persian, Himalayan, and Exotic Shorthair kittens.

There is no single set price for all kittens. As you already know, each kitten is completely unique, and pricing is determined individually based on a variety of important factors. All pricing is set at our discretion and may change at any time.

How Pricing Is Determined

Coat Length
Exotic Shorthairs (shorthair Persians) are generally our most affordable kittens. Their lower-maintenance coats make them easier to raise and groom, which is reflected in their pricing.

Coat Color and Rarity
Rarer and more difficult-to-produce colors are priced higher. Our Rug Hugger kittens and Indigo-Eyed Persians are among our most highly valued due to the many years of selective breeding, development, and refinement invested into these lines.

Cosmetic Traits
Any cosmetic trait we identify is always fully disclosed and reflected in the kitten’s price.

Breeder-Quality Potential
If a kitten is one we would consider keeping as a future breeder, that significantly affects pricing. You may occasionally notice kittens priced above $10,000 — these are kittens we are fully prepared to retain unless their asking price is met.

Photography, Grooming & Listing Updates

Professional grooming and photography are part of how we present each kitten at their very best. Because we are charged by both our groomer and professional photographer, pricing may increase when new photos are taken, or a kitten receives updated grooming and marketing.

Please note: Kittens discounted due to age or cosmetic traits are not eligible for additional discounts.

General Price Range
Prices typically begin at $3,500 and increase from there.

For over 37+ years, we have worked diligently to address labor health concerns in our lines. When you purchase from us, you are not buying from an inexperienced or casual breeder — you are investing in decades of dedication, refinement, and responsible breeding.

All of our lines are DNA and blood tested for every currently testable feline genetic concern, including serious hereditary conditions. This depth of testing, combined with decades of hands-on experience, is rare — and it matters.

This is not a pastime or hobby for us.
This is our life’s work.

Transparency, Integrity & Buyer Protection

We understand that purchasing a kitten online can feel intimidating. We want every family to feel confident that both their heart and their hard-earned money are safe with us.

Our pricing reflects honesty, transparency, and decades of knowledgeable expertise. If even the slightest cosmetic flaw exists, it is always disclosed and priced accordingly. There are never surprises after the fact.

A Gentle but Important Word of Caution

Social media — particularly Facebook — has become saturated with breeders offering Persian kittens at unusually low price points. Many appear professional at first glance, but buyers often don’t realize that:

Breeding cats may have unknown or untested lineage
Essential genetic testing, such as PKD1 and HCM, is often not performed
Health issues may not surface until weeks, months, or even years later
The breeder may no longer be reachable once problems arise

What many people don’t see is what happens after the sale.

We are regularly contacted by families who unknowingly purchased kittens from social media “pop-up breeders” and are now seeking advice for a sick kitten. By the time they reach out, the original breeder is often unresponsive or completely gone. It is heartbreaking, and in many cases, preventable through proper health testing, responsible breeding, and long-term accountability.

We believe anyone producing kittens carries responsibility for the entire lifetime of the cat. That responsibility does not end when a kitten leaves our home — and it never has for us.

Our journey began in 1989 with a mission to better the traditional Persian breed. That mission has grown into a legacy we protect fiercely. We spare no expense, and we never have.

If an issue ever arises, we will always be here — only a call, text, or email away.
